There are various groups in the Sacramento region that are organizing to build working class power and community, often in very different ways. While we do not all share the same organizing vision or theory of change—and SVTU does not officially partner or endorse other organizations as a general matter of policy—it can be useful to get to know the local community network of organizers and we encourage you to reach out and build bridges with any groups that inspire you to get out and organize. Other groups may pursue different strategies and tactics, and you may find support and insight from participation in various organizing environments.

Here are some of the other groups organizing and building working class community in Sacramento from various political perspectives:

Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment (ACCE)
Democratic Socialists of America (DSA)—Sacramento
Mother Natives
NorCal Resist
Party for Socialism and Liberation—Sacramento
Sacramento Free School
Sacramento Punks with Lunch
Sacramento Food Not Bombs
Washington Neighborhood Center
